Mighty to Save

Out of the darkness you have brought me.

The light that was so dim has now grown lighter – a brighter hope for tomorrow.

I was hidden, so far deep, I could not see you.

You found me; you brought me into the light.

I have been brought into the light by your grace.

Mercy has saved me in the darkness.

My God, my Saviour.

You are mighty to save, so mighty to save me, a sinner.

I am no longer drowning, so lost in the darkness.

It is your grace that falls down on me, cleansing me from who I am, my old self and making me white as snow.

My God, my Saviour – mighty to save.
